Garden Council wins Central Region s first place
award " Celebrating Creativity: for best over all flower show
schedule. Thanks to Lynn Dinvald, flower Show Chair for all of her
creative efforts.
March 25, Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. a workshop is
planned on preparing your Garden Clubs Program booklets. Guidelines from
State and National will be provided and reviewed.
March 27-29 Wedel's 13th Spring Garden Expo will
be held at Texas Corners. Marian Haney, membership chair needs
volunteers to (wo)man our booth. Call her at 685-8927 to offer
help.
Inspiring Garden Program, a joint effort of
Kalamazoo in Bloom and the Garden Council, needs judges and nominations

May 19, a Bus Trip to 77th Annual Meeting
Michigan Garden Clubs Convention" Walk on the Wild Side" at
Holiday Inn, Ann Arbor, Michigan. Garden Council is planning a bus
trip with a tour of the Matthaei Botanical Gardens at the end of the

June 10 KGC Annual Meeting will be a High Tea.
