Summer Flower Arranging ClassesFirst Session, Monday, May 4th, 9:30 a.m. at Pat Ira's (4019 Oldfield Trail)Bring: a low flat container,a pin holder ,several daffodils or tulips3 long branches (ex. forsythia, euonymous, willow)a bunch of green filler (ex. pachysandra, ivy, azalea, fern fronds)some flower filler (ex. viburnum, flowering shrubs, smaller garden flowers)a piece of driftwood that is in proportion to your container, if you have itNote: If your garden is bare, get a bouquet at your local grocery story and get some branches from your garden. Come to the class even if you aren't able to get flowers but you will have more fun if you bring some. Following the demonstration they will create their own arrangement. materials needed for each class will be posted on the Council Web site in AprilThe cost of the four classes is $20.00 and can be paid at the first class in May. Checks should be made out to the Kalamazoo Garden Council. Classes are limited to 10 people and registration is required.
